Sing the song of the famous Sandmännchen. See the video and hear versions in different languages. The Sandmännchen is an institution on German TV. Suitable for Junior Cycle.
Suggestions for use:
Sing with the students in the classroom, print out the song so that the students can follow the words.

Short, interesting video accounts given by immigrants about their impressions of Germany. Links up with the topic Ausländer/ Vorurteile.Suitable for Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle.
Suggestions for use:
Useful as listening comprehension, with key information given. As an extension activity get the class to look at the pictures first and let them guess key information.
